This painting presents a distorted figure viewed as if through a peephole or a reflective pupil — blurring the line between inside and outside, watcher and watched.

The figure has no eyes, yet eyes appear across its face and body, evoking a sense of discomfort and hyper-surveillance. It reflects the psychological tension often embedded in the concept of “home” — where control can be masked as care, and love may coexist with pressure.

By exaggerating the figure’s form and displacing vision, the work invites viewers to question how familial structures shape identity, authority, and emotional safety.
